My truck is a 1999 3500 4x4 5spd standard all stock other then uh Edge Ez box

it starts fine and idles fine but when leaving a red light it some times wants to stall and i will have to slip the clutch to keep it running. Also some times i will be driving down the road and all of the sudden i will have no fuel pedal knowing that here i go.

Well it all started about a month or two ago. 1st was a dead Speedo 2nd was a dead tack 3rd was a dead pedal. Well i replaced the speed sensor, crank sensor & two weeks age the APPS. Well the truck still had no power on take off and some times i would have a dead pedal so the last thing i could think of was the VP-44 that i replaced 10 months age has go out. So i pull the vp and over night it to Industrial Injection from hoom i got it from. Well they check it all out. i talked to them today and they tell me it's o. k. so i am having them two day it back to me. Could some one tell me what mite be wrong with the truck. My LP is reading 12psi at idle and 9psi driving. i have an edge EZ box on the truck could that have any thing to do with it? Do they go bad and if so how do they act? Or could it be some thing other then that?

Sounds like you have already done the things I would have thought could be the problem areas.

Maybe TPS? Do sticks have one ?

ECM ? If you think its the emc let me know, Got one in the toolbox I could let you try. Its for a 1999 stick. Its the TQ version.

Sorry not much help.

Scott

I would try unplugging the EZ first hand and see if the problem goes away but other than that my guess would be a bad ECM. I would maybe catch up with Scott from the last post and try his out if the EZ removal doesnt cure it. I have seen EZ's cause a problem through the jumper you run to the MAP sensor. Chris

ya when i get the vp back wednesday i'm going to unplug the EZ and see if it fix's the problem kind of hope so but man if it does i sure did pay a lot to find out. please keep posting stuff as i am sure other's out there my run into the same as i.

thanks for ya'll help and keep them coming.
