My cousin has a 24v 02 extended cab he was idling thru a parking lot today in ohio and the truck just shut off on him? Were getting fuel to the fuel filter and were getting a little drip out of the injector lines at the head Any idea's ? And we didnt see any blown fuses? the truck doesnt even seem to want to fire there is no exhaust period? any idea's ?

Cycle the ignition on-off-on-off-on and watch the odometer. It will display two sets of codes, each followed by a P-Done, E-Done. It will give some insight as to what might be wrong.

1st, could be the VP-44, could be a Cam sensor, could be the IAT (Intake Air Sensor).

Are you sure it has Fuel in the tank (the gauges sometimes show fuel in the tank when there really is none in there, ask me how I found this out).

I would change the fuel filter. Also, do you have a Fuel Pressure gauge? The Lift Pump is probably dead.

Just a quick place to start looking.

Mine ('98. 5) just did the same thing. After checking way too many things, it turned out to be a bad fuel system relay. Changed the relay with one from the horn and it started right up. I hope it's that simple.
