No, dodge does not make a upgraded VB or other transmission parts.

What year of truck? There are some considerations when swapping VB's.

hey u want a VB???? I got one here brand new in the back room I ended up not using it and using the HTS VB I will cut you a deal. let me know I will hook you up. The VB I have sitting here is the ATS Diesel Race VB. Mine here fits a 04-07 and is still in the sealed ATS bag unopened. i will cut you a big deal cuz i dont need but need it gone and need to pay for my twins im gettin berry soon. any other transmission parts you need???

my truck is a 04 and is still under waranty the servic rep said they would only install a dodge part to be covered under waranty

yeah they say that now are they gonna pay for another transmission or a rebuild??? you can delay that expense automatic transmission inevitable expense by running Modded VB. are they gonna install a aftermarket pan that holds more fluid than their stock or mopar accessories pan??? thats my reccomendation. I really suggest swapping vb's to a transmission shop cuz they have inch lb torque wrenches to get it right. stripping transmission cases is a no no and not getting right torque causes all sorts of crazy crap as i have seen both.



honestly i cant sell you something you dont want. and I wont sell you something you dont need but I feel stock trucks can even benifit from Modded VB this is why i run Modded VB's in all my vehicles i plan on keeping and most of my buddies trucks have modded VB's too. if your interested let me know if not thats cool too I aint in a big hurry to sell this ATS VB or some off my other transmission things sittin around.

Well my transmission is slipping bad enough the dealer is willing to agree there is a problem now. On a steep grade, 8%-10%, from a stop, the trans temp light comes on and running 2,100-2,200 rpm just to crawl up it. I have been referred to another dealer by Chrysler, apparently the dealer that is 30 minutes away is not qualified to work on automatic transmissions. The other dealer called me to tell me this, with out my dealer knowing. I was told that I am to cease talking to them with my warranty issues. The new dealer is almost 2 hours away. The new dealer now tells me that Chrysler will not up grade me to a heavy duty transmission since I have a light duty transmission in my Heavy Duty, 3500 Dual wheel Ram. The heavy duty transmission is about $900 more than the light duty.

what dealer did dodge want to fix your transmision and have they yet

No, not fixed yet. Central Dodge in Springfield, Mo. My dealer went south on me again, now on the fourth service manager. I am looking for another dealer in the morning.

I have had my truck back for a week now. Torque converter came apart, burnt all the clutches and bands. Now have new torque converter, valve body, clutches, bands, seals, etc. . Shifts firmer and feels tighter. Still sets the trans temp alarm off crawling up a long very steep grade. While they were in there playing around, they disabled my high idle. I have a call in to the dealer, we'll see what happens.
