Need Info on a 2006, Looking to Buy

Ok guys I am looking at a 2006 Quad cab 3500 4X4 with an automatic, what should I look for? It has 199,000 miles and has been worked hard. It has a new transmission at 175000 miles. Truck is all stock. How should the transmission shift, down shift? also what areas should I look at.

1. Front steering and axle components. Mine have been replaced 3 times in 90,000, finally with the 08 steering update.
2. Auto will shift a little mushy if stock.
3. Original batteries?
4. Injectors original or replaced.
5. Other regular wear items like brakes, tires, lights, filters, you know, the little stuff that adds up.

That's all I can think of at the moment.

Ball joints, steering box, steering linkage, rpm gauge tends not to work, rear door wiring tends to break causing door locks speakers and windows to not work,

Well the Transmission does shift like mush, don't really like that but didn't know what to expect, it does have tach issues and one rear door window does not function. I believe it has OEM injectors but does seem to run good, has a lite miss at idle. it drives ok I expected to to be tighter then my 01. I am thinking about trading him my 01 for this truck because I need an Automatic due to bad knees. The funny thing is I let him turn on the egde box to 3 (out of 5) and my 01 scared the s**t out him when it took off . He did seem to really like the 01 after that though and wanted to close the deal then , but I wanted to do some reseach first (he wants a5 speed bad).
