John, I purchased the Amsoil BMK-15 Dual Remote Bypass kit. Several TDR members on this BB fabricate and sell a battery mount for this Amsoil kit (Ted Kidd and CPFF to name several I'm familiar with). In addition, I purchased a billet aluminum engine takeoff adapter mount from CPFF to replace the (marginal in my opinion) die cast aluminum adapter from Amsoil. Very trick, and very reasonably priced for the high quality of design and construction of the piece. Willyslover also installed one of these billet adapters on his new '01 Ram. In addition, I personally decided to upgrade the hose and fittings Amsoil supplied in the kit to Aeroquip -8 AN Teflon/braided stainless steel hose and steel fittings... the 90 degree fittings are of a sweeping radius design, not an abrubt corner (zero radius) design as supplied by Amsoil. As you would suspect, the Aeroquip fittings flow much better too. The Amsoil hose and fittings are very high quality, I just wanted better.
I elected to design and fabricate my own remote filter mount as I have the Air Bulldog induction hood which pretty much fills up the engine bay with induction components, necessitating the filters be mounted elsewhere. I have my remote filter mount attached to the frame crossmember... the filters are mounted 10 degrees off the horizontal plane (angling downward toward the rear) which JUST fit (with adequate clearance) between the oil pan and the sway bar. Personally, I would have rather utilized a mount from one of the two members I listed above IF I COULD HAVE.
