Honda Commercial - a must see......

I finally figured out that sensation ...

Just picked up a 1990 Sea Ray. The fiberglass has very little oxidation but is VERY dirty and will not come clean with just soap and water. I tried a small spot with some SoftScrub and it really didn't make a difference.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Meguirs sells a 3 part kit with Restorer, Polish ( That I believe is 3M Microfinishing compound) and a Wax at West also.

Using all 3 in the correct order made my 85 Wellcraft look better than new. I used a 6" buffer, and very pleased.

Of course I tried to shortcut by going with first one step... then 2 of the 3 ( in various combinations). . finally I gave in to following the directions. But after all that work, she only needs wax from now on.

OK, tried the acid wash for the hull, worked on the scum line, but nothing else.

Next I tried Flitz, nothing. Then on to straight bleach gel, nothing. Last thing I tried was 3M Cleaner/Wax for Heavily Oxidized Surfaces. Worked OK, but there is still dirt that can be seen.

use sno-bowl toilet cleaner. You'll be amazed.

I would use Lime Away(thick kind if you can find it). Sno-Bowl is a little harsh in my opinion but the effects are probably the same... removing hard water deposits.
