NEED Leather Seats

A friend got his truck stolen and needs leather seats. It's the only thing they took. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

I have a couple suggestions.

I came across a place in Appleton City, Mo. that has take off parts. Most are new or nearly new. When I was there a couple years ago they did have some seats out of Dodge trucks. I do not remember if any of them were leather but it would probably be cheaper to have them recovered with the material of your choice than to buy from the dealer. I do not have a phone number or a name. It is a very small town and if you called anybody in that town they would know who you are talking about. I would just call the Napa Store or City Hall.



I was in a huge store in Joplin Mo. That sells parts and accesories for big trucks. Again, I do not remember the name or the exact location. But you might have a store that is similar in your area. Anyway, they had a huge amount of seats on hand to look at and sit on. Way nicer than the stock seats that come in pickups.

I believe the prices were very reasonable. This store was in the south west part of town near the Interstate. This is where I would look first.

I agree with Kevin above, but for my own reasons. I have the stock leather seats and I'm not thrilled with them. If I had it to do again, I'd get cloth and re-cover them with Katzkins or something like that.



Another idea... even though it borders on blasphemy, Steel Horse (IIRC) has a set of leather truck seats that look like they came out of a C5 Corvette. Seen 'em in many truck mags. He could also get aftermarket heaters (and massagers!) for them.



Heck, he could even pick up a couple of Recaros.
