2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Need mirror glass

The passenger side heated/power mirror on my 98 3500 cracked in half.



Does anyone know of an aftermarket supplier for these?

Just about any glass shop that does auto glass will be able to help you out. These are very common repairs for them.

Its a junkyard or dealer item... I checked around a while back and couldn't find one. Finally got one from Dodge. I don't remember how much.

Check out this link: www.burcoinc.com . They list replacement glass with the heat grid for both the standard and trailer-tow mirrors. I believe they show Crystal Glass as the Alberta distributor-I just haven't gotten around to making contact with them yet.

Any local glass retailer who also does automotive glass can supply or install one for you. I recently had the adhesive behind one fail and the mirror glass fell out on the sidewalk and shattered. A local glass retailer got one in from their wholesaler in a couple of hours and I paid $20 installed. The dealer told me they couldn't obtain one but could sell me the entire mirror. Right!!!
