I am no mechanic so will have to pay to get this done. I would like to increase the HP for my pickup. I was thinking something around 400 hp. I don't know what way to go. What would be the most economical way to go and not cause problems down the road? I had my 96 chipped to 290 hp and had good results. I figure I could get better milage. I drive between 60 and 65. I live in North Central Montana. Thanks for any help. This is a great site.

If you are ready only wanting 400hp - An EDGE Juice w/ Attitude would get ya without alot of fuss

The TST powermaxCR is also available, but sounds like it might be too much for what you want

And obviously there are a ton of pressure boxes out, But only a few will get you to 400 at the rear wheels

Try a search and you will find 10 days or more worth of reading

What did this combo run you, and how long did it take to install?

Thanks, Greg

It is about a 15 minute install plus what you spend to mount the thermocouple

Well some of you are going to have to yeel at me or explain something to

me.

I am a sole owner of a diesel performance shop that specializes in cummins

power. I started out as a trans builder but have branched out to the power

side.

I became a member to watch what all of you were doing and I know what here in michigan we are doing. I sell anything, from edge, bully dog, ts perf,

A+A trans, suncoast, etc and love something everyone makes.

I completely love edge performance on 24v engines. There is nothing better

my opinion only, but you guys don't seem to give anything else a chance.

I also made up my mind when I started to talk on the TDR that I would never bad mouth any product anyone else makes even if I think it is not worth it's

weight in gold because that is not what it is about.

The tst powermax is extremely aggressive, ii is labor inducive to install and

expensive. Edge is also great but where is there downloader? Dennis P at ts is a genuis with nitrous. Why is there not more downloaders, you guys don't

seem to pay much attention to them. Yes, they have had problems as anyone else, but the ease of installation is a no brainer.

I'm sure someone will scream at me online or tell me their stuff is better,

but tell me actually why your electronics work better or why your trans works better, whatever, but tell me facts, not opinion.

Thanks for your honest input.

P. S. I'm still not bad mouthing anyone, everythin I have said is true, not opinion, or am I wrong, but tell me why.

Scream at you? This is the TDR - We love ya just cause you bath in #2 in the morning and sniff diesel exhaust in the afternoon, Just like us!

The main reason I have not tried a DL'er is because I am a bit worried about when I go to take it off, What program are they putting in? My ECM was redone to use the sentry key - After Dl'er will I need to have a DRB3 handy to reprogram the ECM to "see" the sentry key that I added?

Anyway, Your not wrong - But as far as install on a TST - My record install on a truck that already had an EGT gauge is like 19 minutes - Once I have done it like 8 times(in and out) I know just exactly how to shove my hand near the cam sensor to wiggle it out :D - Then again I installed the Juice in like 10 minutes - So its all relative

PS - I agree I would be interested in an EDGE DL'er for sure
