Need new batteries

Ok, truck is over 5 now and the OEM batteries are shot. Those that were at the WYO get together last month witnessed my dead truck. Somewhat embarassing to need a jump at a rally. Well I'm looking for something a little more than middle of the road, but not top of the line. Nor am I looking to be a guinea pig on some new hot product line. I'm looking for tried and true. I was thinking of looking at Interstate or something of the like. I've never liked Die hard (or Die easy as I call them) Just didn't have good luck with them in the past. I do experience cold weather starts and the truck sits for a week or two at a time during the winter months. What are your success stories? TIA

Optima. Period. $99. 00 at costco.

I had a Delco side post in the wifes van. It leaked out of the side post. Dealer says the batt co knows of this. Replaced it with an Optima. I have Optimas in my Ram.

Ditto on the Optimas... Or you can also buy Interstate's jell cell battery since Interstate makes Optimas.

Thanks guys, I put in two new red tops this afternoon. I got them at Advance Auto for 99 each. The wife said: "What strange looking little batteries. " I told her they were what the guys on the TDR recommended and that now we have more room under the hood for more bombs! She said:
