some numbnutz clipped the wifes bumper in the VA parking lot she works at ...

guards told her that he pulled up against her bumper with his 19' roadrunner camper ... looked back and figured "what the hell" and drug his camper the length of the camper against her "plastic" bumper ...

un-hunh, apparently didn't see the factory tow hooks :-laf

guards stopped him ... his nationwise insurance cut us a nice check ...

now we're thinking about getting a road armor stealth base bumper ...

any thoughts?

it costs the same as the buckstop and looks alot better imo...

I've got a RoadArmor Stealth sitting in my yard that I just haven't mounted yet. Generally impressed. In my opinion, it depends on whether you want a grill guard with the bumper or not. I had a Denver Off Road on my '01 and if I had the $$$ I'd probably have gone the same route this time. The RoadArmor is nice, just not sure it is as stout as the DOR.

I think the road armor is really nice. I had a tough time deciding inbetween them and buckstop when I started to become a dealer for truck bumpers. We have installed a buckstop on our 05. It turned out very nice and we are pleased with it. We also sell bumpers by aluminess. They are all aluminum construction and only wiegh around 95 lbs. both are winch ready. The aluminess has a box that can be used as a toolbox if you do not plan to run a winch. If you need pictures I can email you some. I saw the fab fours bumper the other day it seems well built but I'm not crazy about the grill guard on it. it pretty futuristic looking

I've got the road armor bumpers. The front has the grill guard. I think the guard takes away from the looks a little because it is so far out in front. I chose that to keep the damage as far out in front of the truck as possible. Someone has to go a long ways to cause me real harm.

Overall, I'm happy though. I'd say do it if you like the looks.
