Hello, need advice for best deal on a clutch set for my truck. I have spoken with standard transmission, autozone, napa, and advance. So far my best price is $240 for the heavy duty one called for. Thanks, Steve

Might not be less expensive but have you called/emailed South Bend Clutch? Also heard Luk Clutch is pretty good.

Do you want best price, or do you want best clutch or do you want best service?

If you want the best price for the best clutch with GREAT service - call south bend clutch and talk to Peter.

I put one of his clutches in my truck - the "ralley" model - in 2003. The cost was around 400 with shipping.

The pedel effort was less than the stock, and it does exactly what I wanted.

Yes, I could have bought a reman clutch from Carquest for about $300 - but why - when no one could tell me anthing about that product.

South bend was also able to help with advice and parts on replacing the input shaft (due to wear from the shot pilot bearing).
