I'm in the process of changing my 2500 into a dually. I'm currently running the Firestone Transforce at's and I will uy them for the dually wheels also.

This is the best wearing tire I've had so far. The Nitto's, Toyo's etc have all worn too quickly to buy into another round.

I have about 5000 miles on 6 new Hankook ATM's to replace the worn out Generals that came on my truck new. I got a little over 50,000 miles on the OEM's, and had ordered the Hankook's from Discount Tire when I had a blowout on the way home from work. Luckily the Hankook's had come in that day. I thought I might have to take them back for a refund because they were real squirrelly going down the highway. They are considerably better now. I think aired up to 80 had the tire crowned too much and I was riding on a very small tire patch. Wearing them down some and the patch is getting bigger. Is that possible?

I have never been a fan of Firestone tires but I recently put on a set of Firestone Transforce A/T and the traction in wet weather is great, with my Goodyears and Coopers if someone spit on the road I would get wheel spin. The Firestone Transforce A/T is great plus I got them for 906. 00 installed for all 6 tires on sale

Im confused:confused:

Your sig shows 19. 5 or 22. 5's did you lose them?

I don't have a dually, but did just put the Michelin AT2's on my truck and they seem like a really nice tire. They are a little more expensive, but if they are anything like the other Michelins, they should get almost double what any other tire gets for mileage. Plus, they have a good looking tread that should handle most conditions really well. I looked at the Hankooks, but decided to try out the Michelin. We will see in another year or so how the mileage is, and if they were worth it. Scotty

I have not had the 22. 5s for a few years, I am looking at my sig and I don't see that it still shows 22. 5s just this>

Wow, just a bit more then half of what a set of Michelins would cost. Is that with road hazard, rotations and all that good stuff?

Follow up... I did buy the Bridgestone Duravis M700 HD total price of $1210. 00 out the door. They are somewhat aggressive but still worthy of street driving. I cant wait till winter to see how they handle in the snow. Thanks for all your input.

One thing I am dissapointed in is, I thought this was an American company Firestone/Bridgestone. But when I looked at the tires on my truck they said made in Japan. Had I known this I may have tried the Hankooks units.

AMERICA FOR SALE? CHEEP!!!

IIRC, Bridgestone has always been made ... " over there".

Any updates on how those Duravis tires are performing. I need to replace my tires real soon, I've been looking at the Duravis 500hd and the Transforce AT or HT.
