As you can see by my sig, I have Rip's 4" exhaust. It is a good quality system, however now that I drive my truck daily it is starting to irritate me. I would like your guys' input on a good flowing system that is not obnoxiously loud. Single, duals, S. S. or aluminized, doesn't matter. I do tow a fifth wheel.

Thanks

I agree with nick. I just installed a 4" stainless turbo-back exhaust that I've modified to meet my needs. The system included a 24" spiral muffler that was just too loud and raspy.

So, I relocated this muffler to the downpipe to act as a resonator and installed a 30" Magnaflow after it. Now the sound is much more to my liking. A mild performance tone at idle and at highway speeds, with more agressive sounds during full throttle, but not obnoxious. No drone that I have been able to hear. I thought of getting the silent might muffler but it would have been too long for me to use the OEM hanger mounting point in front of the muffler.

I do recommend tack welding all of the pipes together and using stainless band clamps. Summit has some really nice US-made clamps for a decent price.
