I did a search with no luck, so here is my problem.

I pulled a heavy trailer through the mountains with no trailer brakes, I know I know bad idea but I needed to haul some stuff. Anyway I ruined the front pads and rotors on my 99:mad: , who makes the best rotors and pads for our trucks and whats the price? How hard is it to change the rotors and pads?

Thanks in advance!

Front Pads

Changed my OEM pads at 32k, and put on CarQuest pads, now at 104k and still 50%. E-Brake used entire time.

Call Sam Peterson 360-357-4958. Just ordered pads from him today. Real nice guy and a brake guru, he'll fix you up or tell ya who can.

For what it is worth NAPA has rotors for $50 a piece. Also if you have to replce your rotors helps if you have a way of getting the studs out of the old rotors. I used a vise and put a lug nut on the stud to protect the threads got a BFH and pounded the out. Not too bad of job you will need nedd a big socket to get the axle nut off though.
