I am looking to buy new tires very soon. I have posted earlier about the interco trxus STS but am not convinced that is what I want. I am currently running 315/75 16 BFG ATs and am happy with them, I would just prefer a heavier duty tire both for the weight rating and the wear and stability. Most of my driving is on road so mud terrain tires are not necessary. As stated in my signiture, I have a 2" spacer in the front and +1/2" control arms from DT. I am also considering maybe the Denman Coyotes in the 305/85 16 since I have read so many good things about them here.

Thanks for any and all assistance.

Come on fellas, somebody has got to know something. There are tons of people running 35s on these trucks. There are some old threads but tires have changed so much in the past few years. Give me some advice here!

Thanks

Dan

toyo and nitto both have some larger E rated tires. pro comp makes a couple E rated tires in the XTerrain and XtremeAT treads. I'm in the same boat and I would suggest a tire rated E if you are towing HEAVY. My BFG 37" mudders are 3525 rated and work fine, but they do give some sidewall flex with a 12k trailer. nowhere near maxed on the tire load, but they do sway a bit.

get a wheel that is closer to the max width suggested for the tire and an E rated tire for the best weight stability. so far, the only wheel i have found that meets MY criteria for this is the American Eagle 1144 18x9. 5 with +22mm offset.
