Ok, it's time for a new set of rubber, and I need some advice. I'm currently running 285/75R16D Goodyear Wrangler MT/R's on stock aluminum 16's. I've gotten almost 60k miles on them, so I'm tempted to just go back, but I want to know what else might work. I'm looking for a good all-terrain tire that works in mud, if they exist, has good puncture resistance (ala prickly pears/mesquite thorns) yet still behaves and wears well on the highway. I've looked at BFG A/T's, Toyo A/T's and M/T's, and Mickey Thompson Radial F-C II's. Looking at staying with 285's or moving up to 295's, maybe even 315's. Would like an E range tire for better stability... Let me know what experience you've had with what tire, thanks!
