After extensively road testing my Cummins conversion, it is back in the shop for a few odds and ends, including cleaning up the misc. wiring I have had to modify to make the Cummins engine and accessories work with the Ford chassis.

I went to the Dodge dealer to try and order a few plugs including:

Fuel shutoff solenoid plug (vehicle harness side)

AC compressor clutch plug (vehicle harness side)

Alternator plug (vehicle harness side)

The parts counter guy told me that Dodge does not sell replacement plugs for these 3 things. Is he wrong? Do I need to find another Dodge dealer, or just go to the junkyard and cut some plugs off? Thanks for any help.

I think I'd do what you suggested. Go to a wrecking yard.

Another alternative might be to go to a modern collision repair shop that uses a computer to prepare estimates for collision repair. I'd bet their software would include p/n for the harnesses and plugs you want and they might be more helpful in ordering them for you.

Most dealer parts salesmen I've encountered don't really know anything about the cars and trucks and can't function without a computer. Some aren't even very skilled at looking up parts in their software. Maybe it's like trying to use the tax code. It's so complicated nobody can understand it.

I spent fifteen minutes this week waiting while a parts counter salesman at a local Dodge dealer struggled to find out what kind of transmission fluid to use in an 08 Dodge Ram C&C.
