Archived Need oil pan and oil pump pick up tube 91 Diesel

1991 Dodge 350 w/Cummins Diesel. Ran over post and pushed oil pan up and broke oil pan pick up tube. No part# found. Eng SN# plate gone from engine.

I have a brand new oil pan,gasket and drain plug sitting in the shed. I ordered them for a 2001 Ram 2500, dont know if they will fit your year.

The procedure for replacement says you have to pull the engine? With a little over 10 hours for with auto trans and more for manual trans. Wow, I hope there is some way to get around pulling the engine??

The procedure for replacement says you have to pull the engine?

The manuel for 2nd gen trucks says you have to unbolt the motor and trans crossmember,then jack up the motor 4" or 5" and put blocks in between the motor and motor mounts. This gives you the clearance to then remove the pan and pick up. .

Benny had to remove the bolts , jack up engine and then still jack the cab up 10". NIGHTMARE CITY !!!
