After many hours of research, the only products for a 95 Ram 2500 2wd suspension lift come from this company. http://www.tsliftkitstore.com The items I am considering are listed below.

Dodge lifted coil spings 3"

Dodge upper control arms

http://www.tsliftkitstore.com/product.asp?returnURL=default.asp&ID=17378

or

Adjustible coil lift instead of coil springs

http://www.tsliftkitstore.com/product.asp?returnURL=default.asp&ID=19305

The rear end would just be blocks or helper springs I guess.

I have never lifted a truck and don't know anyone that has.

This is not one of the major manufacturers so I wanted to get some input from other people. Will this work?

I am thinking about installing Rancho 9000 adjustable shocks as well. Do they need to be longer than stock?

Please help!!! I'm suspension lift ignorant.

Btw, I have done lots of searches on this and other sites but, none have helped.

Thanks in advance,

Jeff

I have also been considering a lift for my truck, but have not taken the plunge yet. I have installed lots of lift kits, as well as designed, built and installed my own suspension system for my Cherokee (converted the rear to coils, and the front to a long arm setup). Personally I would go with the upper control arms, and then a poly spring spacer, or the adjustable coil lift spacer. I would not replace the springs. In my experience, I have not found many aftermarket springs that are of the same quality as OEM springs. Most I have dealt with are either not the correct spring rate, or they sag over time. Just my opinion.

Jeff,

Thanks for finding this great site! I've been looking for a long time and been very disappointed with the lack of products for our 2wd's.

I agree with mschoenheider about keeping the factory springs, I couldn't find anything that said those springs could take the extra weight of the Cummins.

I also read in another thread that you can't go much over 2" in the front with the stock control arms.

Thanks again,

John

That's not entirely true.

I had a Fabtec spring setup installed on my 96' 2wd before I sold it. It was actually intended for an F-250, (I believe... can't remember for sure but could find out) but it fit the Ram and held it just fine for the 22K miles I put on it. It lifted the front about 1. 75". Might not be enough for you, but it was what I was looking for. Leveled it out nicely.
