I found a used 1994 , 2500 regular cab 4x4 automatic with the 5. 9 cummins diesel, Price: $11,990 , Mileage: 130,717 miles so what do you think does this sound like a good deal what sholud i look for?

I plan on using this truck to Haul firewood and my jeep.

this is going to be my first diesel so i need some opinions.

Sounds REAL expensive for that truck. Depending on your budget, get the newest one you can and you'll never drive a gas-powered anything ever again!

Doesn't sound too bad for my area. They still want 10k plus for a first generation 4x4. If you're worried about the miles don't be. We just bought one (1989) with 340k, I have no doubt in getting at least another 150k out of it.

IMO, If the truck nice and is an SLT with all the bells and wistles, that doesn't sound like too bad a price.

If it is a "plane jane" and/or isn't very nice, that is a little steep.

If you can afford a little more, get at least a 96. The 94-95 auto's had little fuel pumps.

My $. 02
