need Part # for head light switch

I need the "fix a first gen head light repair kit number from mopar" On my second store bought and it is going kokokok:-{} Looked in search but couldent finend it. need the switch and harness, eney tips in how to connect the harness would be varry helpful, cause they don't give you vary mutch room. Thought about pulling the dash out But dont want to if some one nows a guicker rout Thank Justin

This is the part number mark93 posted January of last year. 4886449-AB This is the repair kit that also comes with a new connector.

Justin,

Buy the part that Neil gave you the number for even though

the Dodge parts man will insist that its for a 97, pull your

mirror control switch to get it out of the way, get plenty of

light, magnification if you need it, and just accept it that you

are going to get a crick in your neck. Cut one wire at a time

from the old connector as long as you can, make sure you slide

the heat shrink sleeve on , solder the wire from the new one on,

shrink the sleeve into place, then do the next one. Its a real

p. i. t. a. ,but you'll feel a lot better after its done. I don't think I

would pull the dash out even if it is tempting.

I will get this kit monday,or should I say order it. Thanks on the tip on the morrir switch take out diddent think ovf that. So you saying they are still making the same parts on for 1st gens and still the same on 2 gens, cool. Thanks Justin
