Hey I actually started this thread, I was at Brandon's shop in the middle of installing a Southbend 13 x 1. 25 con OFE in my father in laws 98 quad cab 12 valve. Well we never did get a clip, but ended up safety wiring on the clutch fork. So far so good and the OFE seems to be one sweet clutch. Thank you Peter. Just want to give a big thank you to Brandon for use of the shop and the help. Oh yeah anyone looking to do a clutch job on a weekend may want to pick one of those clips up just in case. This one was broken when we pulled the fork out. Based on the fact that it had been broken for who knows how long and had been working fine (besides the slipping o. e. m. clutch) I decided to just safety wire the fork on. My theory is that once it is in place it cant come off anyway as it always has the slightest pressure on it from the slave cylinder anyway. Oh well ill let you know if i was wrong.
