Need parts for conversion

I have a 91 4x4 CTD with the 727 auto. Its dead and out of the truck. Looking for possible ideas on replacing it with either a NV4500 or a overdrive transmission. Looking for parts in either case. Any help would be great... I hate not having my truck.

There is a guy on here that has the user name MKnoll, I sold him a 5 spd conversion to convert his auto, you might see if he wants to sell the auto. It is a 2nd gen 4wd. -Nicholas

Just curiuos, what happened to your 727? I've one in my 89 and doin' good since I rebuilt it earlier this year. Had about 215,000 on it and was slipping terribly. Then got an overhaul kit and took it apart. It now has over 238,000.
