Need parts help - Ignition switch died on me!

On my last trip my ignition switch died. Truck will still fire but I have no heat or a/c capacity (blower motor is connected to the switch). Texas heat mated with no a/c sucks. The dealer is telling me it'll be mid next week before I can get the part.



If anyone has a dealer string they can pull, let me know. I'll get the part number and pay the freight to get it here tomorrow.

I can tell you that w'ill my truck is runnig and I rotat the switch slowly towards the off position the a/c and other accesories will die first. The engine will stay running ??????? Just a note so others can keep a eye on this problem. Did your swith die suddenly ? And also have you tried a salvage yard for even a Jeep , as the switches may all be the same... .

It didn't die completely. The truck still starts, runs, drives, etc. Just that my a/c, and heat don't work.

I've got one on order but it won't be here until next week at some point.
