Need part # for the stainless steel dog bone exhaust manifold bolt keepers on a 2002.

I tried Drake Lock nuts and they are not holding without periodic (6 months?) retorqueing.

I put a ATS manifold on and then Key Belvilles and Drake Locknuts. The Drakes are not staying torqued permanently. I will change the Drakes to regular nuts, and torque them to appropriately. I do not want to trust Locktite blue. I need something that will KEEP the manifold bolts from turning period. Manifold should be in place permanently.

The dog bone manifold bolt keepers that DC had on it I think will work with any nut approximately the same size. Just need the part number so I can order them from Peterbilt.

Thanks

lock washers special

I used anti vibration washers from REID tool. they are two serated washers that go together. On two ATS equiped trucks no problems.

I thought I had the nut vibration whipped as well with the Drake lock nuts. Nope, over time, after checking them 3 times over a period of 9 months two of the belville washer packages have been dumped off the studs of #1 cylinder (both top stud and bottom stud).

I think the stainless dog bone will positively stop the loosening permanently. At least that is the route I am going to try next.
