Waiting on Brakesmart?, read this

Folks,

In the process of cleaning out my storage unit after divorce and emptying three bedroom house full into it. Would like to find 16' or longer box trailer that I could put shelves in to hold stuff, (mostly hand tools and sentimental stuff from family). Biggest requirement is that it not leak. Any good brand or ones to avoid. Can go with fifth wheel or pull behind. Thanks in advance.

wells cargo has always made a nice trailer. a less expensive route possibly and maybe even more usable in the long run but HEAVY would be to find a shipping container on a flat bed. you can get them in 20 and 30 foot lengths, they are weather tight with ventilation holes and are solid. i picked up a cut down 10 foot one for about a thousand.

sorry about your divorce. i have been there as well and know how it is. good luck

Weatherly, Controlling relative humidity is a must. Even if it doesn't leak, damp air will present all the moisture necessary to rust tools and mold everything else. Steel CONEX type containers can't be beat for strength and security but are about the worst offenders for interior condensation conditionns. Row of 100 watt light bulbs, full length of container about 6 ft spacing might just maybe be enough drying heat, depending on what part of country you're in. I'm solving your same problem for myself for the same reasons. Good luck, JimB.

Hello sorry to hear about your divorce

I have owned haulmark, pace, united, and by far this trailer was the best. I sold it for a very large profit to some one who really wanted it more than me my next trailer will be this same trailer

with a few windows installed I also suggest the rear ramp it adds more cost but when loading stuff it is wonderful I moved a 4000 sq ft house full of stuff with this trailer 7 trips ramps made it so much easier. good luck
