Archived Need reference 4 clutch and seal install in Denver

I have a line on a Southbend Clutch @ cost and need someone with the know-how and equipment to install. The major shops in the area are reluctant to do the work if they aren't supplying the materials. I also need to replace the rear seal, bottom seal, and Upper Balls.

There is not as much money in it for them. As long as the shop stands behind there work is all you would expect. If you could rent or buy a good used transmission jack in a pawn shop or ebay that would work. good luck Jim

I was hoping to find a $50 per hour independent instead of the local $90+ rate around Denver. I gota' save those pennies for a new set of DV's and injectors.

Member "LaserBob" installed a SB clutch for me a few months back. Not sure if he'd install yours nor do I remember his price. Whatever it was it was worth it to me. He does good work and got-r-done fast.

He's in Greeley on the north end.

Thanks guys. I'll give these guys a try... as always the TDR is working hard to save some dollars for additional bombing... Oh and a new pair of shoes for the kid.
