Need RV Park Advice

My wife and I need suggestions for RV Parks in the following cities because of our long summer trip.



ELY, NV

Grand Junction, CO

Kansas City (Leawood area), KS

Edmond, OK

New Orleans, LA

Winston-Salem, NC



Any personal experience is appreciated. I have the travel books, but I trust your opinions more.

Colorado State Parks has a series of parks along the Colorado River near GJ. One of them is called Island Acres and is east of town about 10 - 15 miles (see link below). The other is at Fruita, which is about 10 miles west of GJ. Both are very nice. The one at Fruita is brand new, and very pretty. It's located about 2 miles from the Colorado National Monument park entrance. If you are looking for a private RV park, check the links shown below for visitor's information.



I had a job interview in GJ, and was disappointed that it didn't work out. Very nice town.
