Well after only about 6 months, and 11000 miles these Trailmaster SSV shocks have taken a dump on me after a 2500 mile round trip towing my trailer. Immediately after I was home I found the truck bouncing over bumps. Further observation shows that with warmer temps(it's high 30's at night, and almost 80 in the day here in Michigan right now), with warmer temps the shocks act worse. Morning at 30 degrees it's not too bad but at 80 degrees it's bouncing like crazy... .
So I can't recommend anyone buy these things.
I don't want to make another mistake so I'd like a solid recommendation on some long lasting shocks... . Bilstein? Rancho? Edelbrock? They can't all be good or bad... there must be SOME difference between brands?????
I'm sticking my old oem's on for now. Waste of 250 bucks. :{
