replaced my balljoints, pass. tie rod end, and inner tie rod end at the steering box this weekend. I've got the steering wheel centered up good now, and we set the toe at 1/16" toe in, but the truck still gradually pulls to the right. My tire pressures are the same side to side, so its not that, and it drove straight before I replaced everything. My track bar is shot, but like I said, it was driving straight before I replaced anything. I'll replace the track bar as soon as my 3rd gen. conversion kit shows up. I havn't had a chance to get it out on a highway that doesn't have much road crown yet, maybe its just the road crown doing it. If thats the case, is there anything I can do to compensate for it?

You didn't mention getting the front-end aliened after all the work was completed?????? If you didn't then I would wait till the track bar is install and then have it done, this should make a big difference. I would have also replaced the other wear parts on the front end while I was at it. If the truck still refuses to track straight, you can add air to the opposite side it pulls to, this always works.

I replaced the ball joints and pass. side tie rod end only 3 months ago and that stuff was all shot already (3200miles) and had it aligned after I did all that. This time I decided to try and save some money and do the alignment myself. We do this at work all the time on the big rigs and it works fine. We give em 1/16" of toe in. Thats what I did to my truck. Obviously I can't change camber unless I went to offset ball joints and it was within spec last time I got it aligned so I didn't even worry about that. The caster was in spec too and that shouldn't have changed any this time around either. Only thing that woulda changed was the toe and like I said, we set that at 1/16" toe in which is factory spec anyways. I replaced everything that was shot in my front end other than the track bar... . I'm still waiting for that conversion bracket to show up on my door step. I'm also gonna put a DSS on it while I"m at it.
