Need Some Exhaust Brake Input

A buddy of mine with a 96 12-Valve 5-speed wants me to install an exhaust brake on his truck. He tows a 12,000lb 5th wheel. His truck is all stock with the exception of a TST 230/605 fuel plate and K&N filter.

I am leaning towards a Pac Brake.

He is also looking into an overdrive unit like the Gear Vendors under/over unit. Any suggestions on this item?

Any advice will be appreciated.

It looks like a toss-up between the BD and PacBrake.

Is your PacBrake installed yet?

Actually I will have my PacBrake installed on February 5th... by the man. . Bill K.

The only reason I don't have it in yet is because I have an Automatic transmission. So Bill will be installing his TC + VB, plus some new controller that he has that will allow the Pac Brake to work on an Auto..... Boy am I excited to get everything installed.

You will be more than satisfied with Bill K's products. Bill is a great guy and his customer service is excellent. I only have his Valve Body now and it totally changed how my truck drives. I love it. I am trying to justify getting the TC next.
