Attention: TDR Forum Junkies 
We just swapped out a blown engine in my buddies truck for a 32K yard engine and rebuilt his head.
The truck is all back together and runs but seems low on power and has this glugging or chugging sound through the intake. it really sounds to me like a miss but I cannot figure out where or why. I've gone through and retightened the cross over tubes to the head and lines to the tubes. checked and rechecked valve lash, it has no leaks and has no codes but it just seems low on power and this glugging sound alarms me. this is the first CR I've worked on so i have nothing to compare it to.
How can I diagnose the injectors in this thing? Is there any sort of balance tests or pressure tests that can be done? I have a friend that is a tech and can bring home a dealer scan tool.
PS We also had the injectors cleaned by a local injection service prior to reinstalling them. They are the original ones with 268K on them. they were not disassembled or bodies checked just tips cleaned.
I guess what I'm asking is how the heck do tell when you have a bad injector in these things?
