Need some help. P0106

Towing 5th wheel to campground. Lost power and CEL came on. Code p0106 map sensor. Got to campground and checked for vacuum leaks. Checked the intercooler connections and there were no holes or splits in hoses. Pulled map sensor and it had a good bit of build up. Sprayed MAF cleaner on it. Reinstalled and test ran truck. Seems ok now but truck wasn't under heavy load. Ordered a new one and will replace it when it comes in. I'm a little worried about the trip home. Is there anything else I should be looking for?

Could also be the turbo speed sensor going out. It is a rationality code and it gets fooled thinking the boost is too high for the speed of the turbo when in reality the turbo reading is too low for the boost.

How hard is it to replace the turbo speed sensor?

Not that hard. It is on top of the turbo. Not a cheap part though. Don't buy from ram it is 2x the price of buying from a cummins dealer. There are a couple youtube videos on replacement.
