I got a buddy that is seriously looking at a dodge. He's pretty much dead set on a 12v ext. cab 4x4 5 spd. I told him about the KDP and 5th gear nut.
The one thing he's concerned about is mileage. My truck gets about 20-21 on the highway w/ the 3. 54 gears, is mileage going to drop that much if a truck had 4. 10s?
The mileage seems to be his biggest concern. Other than timing is there anything he can do without spending too much money to help the mileage? Straight pipe it maybe? I think a BHAF is alittle more money than what he wants to spend right out of the box.
If the truck did have 4. 10s what would be involved in switching them to 3. 73s or 3. 54s? I've heard you've got to switch alot of parts going to the 3. 54s.
