I need some help guys. Trying to assist a friend with a Jaguar X-Type with a 2. 5 V6 engine. He's getting a
P0333 for Knock Sensor High Voltage. I know where the sensor is. I don't know where it connects into the wiring harness so that we can test it. I don't want to just help take off the entire intake system and replace the sensor if it is not bad. One of the causes of this code is high resistance. That can be at the sensor location where it is attached to the block or at the connector end. If we can get to the connector and take it apart, we can test the sensor. If it's bad, then the manifold comes off or we will figure out a way to relocate it to avoid that. Nissan owners are doing that now without removing their manifolds.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
