Im in the process of swaping a 96 12V into my 99 F350 and have some fan clearance questions. I dont have a fan on the fan clutch, and need to know how far it sticks out before I buy one. Could anyone take a look at their fan and see how far it sticks out past the clutch. Either the fan blades, or the hub, just the farthest part out from the fan. Thanks for the help guys, I cant wait to get this truck fired up and not here that nasty PSD under the hood anymore.

Man i was getting ready to head outside with a tape measure when i remembered my truck is at work :( I will be there this afternoon if no one has hooked you up by then.

P. S. Sound like a cool project! I almost put a 12V in a 95 Chevy but chickened out and bought a 12V with a Dodge wrapped around it.

Do you need the measurement from the pulley to the farthest point forward of the fan/clutch assembly? I can measure what you need just tell me how you want it. Jeremy.

Sorry, I couldn't see the forrest for the trees! :) I should have read the post a few more times. I would agree on the 1/4" past the clutch. At least that is about where my two trucks are.
