Need Steering Wheel for 1997 Dodge Ram 2500 SLT

My steering wheel is deteriorating as little bits of black stuff is falling off. The wheel looks wrapped; is it? The original steering wheel is obsolete from Dodge. What are my options for replacement?

Junk yard(old school) or auto dismantlers(P. correct) will probably be your best bet. You will have to know if the different year/models are interchangeable. I am sure that someone here will have some helpful info for you on that

If you can find a temporary replacement you can send your original out to be recovered.

I put a wheel skin on mine several years ago. It takes some time and patience but I couldn't be happier with the results.
