Need tailgate lock

Anyone have a source for a decent tail gate lock. My cap sits on the over the rail bedliner making it easy to open the tailgate even while the cap is locked. I just want to keep the honest people out. Guy at work moved the latch on his 2003 hemi to inside the bed. Wish I could do that easily, that would be the best fix.

Check JC Whitney they had good locks. I got an electric one and hooked to door locks

I put the Pop & Lock on my '99. Fits great and is easy to use, easy to intall. There is another brand out there but I think the lock comes out when you unlock it. The Pop & Lock stays on.

Now the hard part.

Anyone know if the chain stores carry them? I can buy online just hoping to have it before Saturday. Need to lock the wife in the truck while we are at the beach.

Some chain stores may carry it. Got mine at an RV supply store. If an RV place doesn't have them, they can usually get it in a day or two depending where their distributor is.

Check EBAY. I got one for my truck for about 11 dollars I think. Easy install and works fine.

A 2" stainless hose clamp around the notch hindge side works great to keep the tail gate from being stolen,but they can still open the tail gate. I have done this on all my trucks and never lost a tail gate.
