Hi All,

I just put some new 285/75 Bridgestone Dueller Mud Terrains on my stock 6. 5" rims. Tire dealer and fellow members said no problem. I need to know what pressures I should run in the front/rear. The tire guy said to run 5 psi less than the max. shown on the tire, which in my case would be 60psi. He said run that all the way around and if it gets bouncy, drop it by 5. They also said that MT's sit up on their tippy toes which to me would mean to run lower pressure for full contact patch? I think 60 psi is too much?

What pressures are being run out there and do you keep it the same front and rear? I do not run loaded either.

Thanks- :)

I have the same size tires and I run 65 psi in front and 55 psi in rears. If I haul something heavy I air up to 65 psi in the rears. There is ALOT of weight on the front axle (around 4000 lbs. ) and if you look at what the stock tire pressures call for with the load range E's; I feel 65 psi in front is required.
