Brake Bleeding Question

On some goodies for my 91. It's so hard to decide what to buy first. I'll be at Muncie so I'm sure I'll spend alot there.

1. Wheels, I heard thet my two favorite choices(m/t Classic/ Challenger) had been discountinued. I may try getting some used ones since I really like em.

2. Turbo, I really didn't have this on my "list" until today, my turbo is getting kinda old,208,500 miles. It kinda makes a BRAAAAP! in 3rd and 4th that kinda worries me? maybe I'm paranoid, but I am makingalot of boost-35#. In 4th it will usually stop making boost at about 31-32#. I heard alot of good things about Piers Hx35. I'd like to hear about it, like which exhaust housing it comes with, and old or new as shown on the price list, and all the parts and stuff needed for an install on my early 91.

3. Tach I'll probably get one very soon, Isspro is my main choice right now.

4. Mag-hytec for the rear

5. Fast coolers

6. Borgeson

You probably wonder why I don't have any Injectors on my list? Well I kinda decided that I really dont need them right now, I'm making pretty good boost, and smoke for right now. I may get some later.

any advice/observations will be appreciated

Thanks, Steve

Pump

First things first. You just gotta get the ole pump turned up. My 92 has 265k on it. Turned the pump up at 102k. No injectors upgrades. One clutch at 176k and thats it.

Sorry WBlackburn, been there, cranked that. WIDE open(almost):D See my Boost = 35# Doubt there'd be a way to get that much without some kinda inj or pump tweak. Or a really small exh housing.

My dilemma is that I have enough money to buy only ONE big(read-expensive) goody for my truck, turbo, wheels, inj etc...

There will be lots of vendors at Muncie to help get rid of that money burning a hole in your pocket. :-laf Last year, there were some good deals going on. A lot of the vendors had show discounts. Bought my gauges there. A few guys had some used parts too. See ya there... .

I'll probably get the wheels first, though I can't decide what to get, probably some ol 589's. I'm sure I'll probably spend all of it at Muncie.

I bought a set of 589's for the mud racing truck I had, and also the set I have on the Dodge. This set is 5-6 years old. They've held up well and still look good.

I also like the M/T Classic II's (I think that's their name). Same as the 589's, but larger holes.

Hey Carolina,

At Muncie - look me up. I just bought a set of eagle 102's. They look good. and I paid $165. I too was a little late in terms of the M/T's (wanted a set of challengers) but these fit the bill pretty good.

See U at Muncie!!!

Kevin,

Those are nice looking wheels! I'll check them out!

Have fun out west!

I'll be boatin'. Gottta put that "other" Cummins to work!:D

Yeah, I like the M/T Classic II's, but I haven't heard any reports on them, good, or bad? Anybody running these. Hey Mactruck, pretty sharp.

If you spin your compresser wheel on the turbo and you can't get it to touch or bind, will or will it not touch during operation, maybe?

Mine does not have any play forward-back but some sideways? I cant tell how much, I might be overreacting, I tend to sometimes.

Thanks, Steve
