need to know about insurance???

I am wanting to know what kind of insurance I need to haul automobiles? And how hard is all the buiness paper work. I have been hauling on weekends for people and am tinnking about making a buiness card to pass out and ect. Thanks Justin

Well since your doing it for hire you will fall under all DOT regs unless your are registered under a combined weight of 26,001 lbs.



You will need your DOT authority, single state authority, IFTA, etc...



You will need commercial liability, and load insurance.



You can check with the OOIDA. Owner Operators Independent Drivers Association.
