Need to know what wire to tap inside dash for heated seat

I have aftermarket heated seats that have a power wire, ground wire and a third wire that is supposed to be hooked up to a wire that is only hot when the ignition is on so the seats won't be always on when the key isn't on. I have wired everything else as per instructions and don't know where to go for the switched wireing.

Seat Heaters

Try the 12V 20A accessory plug below the ashtray. According to what I've found, the juice only runs to this plug when the key is on. That's where I spliced mine in. Nuthin like havin a set of nice warm buns. :-laf

Thanks for the quick reply. I know that my accessory plug below the ashtray is always hot because I use it to charge my cell and the adaptor is lit up even when the truck is off. I need the place to connect the switched lead. you may have put your unswitched power lead to the accessory or it may be different for an 05.

The outlet under the ashtray is always hot. The cigarette lighter on the dash is only on with the key.
