I need to lower my EGT's on my 12v while towing. I'm around 400hp. I have a High tech 62/13/65 now but that's not doing it. If i go with twins i'm going to use it for the small charger. I don't mind spending the money but I just want to make sure they're worth it. I've also been told just putting a bigger intercooler on will do as much as twins will. If I put twins on will I need a bigger intercooler? Just want some real world facts before I spend this kind of money.

What are you running for injectors, and how much weight are you towing?

DDP stage 1 50hp for injectors. I tow around 10,000 mostly and egt's aren't to bad. It,s when I load the mega-cab on a 32' trailer with weights, 4 wheelers, and tools on long trips going to pulls. Then I'm towing 20,000+ and that's where I need to know if twins or an intercooler help. Where's the best place to get an s400 and the piping for twins.

water/meth can be helpful. The snow MPG kit is much cheaper than an intercooler and you can tune it to come on at a specific boost level.

I don't know about the aftermarket intercoolers, but I switched to a 24 valve intercooler and noticed little difference. With my newest mods my egt's rocket very fast. My HTT 62/14 can't even hope to keep up. I'm thinking about twins now myself as I think a larger single would be a pain in a daily driver. I'll be watching this thread to see what works for you.
