I need 9 quarts of Mopar ATF+4. Considering the dealer wants $9 or so per qt, where can I get Mopar fluid cheaper? I swear I found it somewhere for $4+ per qt at an auto parts store a year ago, but can't remember where.

Using a MagHytec Double Deep trany pan. Want to stick with OEM fluid.

Thanks,

Joe

Hmmm... . my local Wal-Marts and my local Kragen (aka Checker) or Autozone do not handle the Mopar product. Almost like it's retail sale in CA has been banned?

Any other suggestions? Could I use a product like Valvoline ATF+4 with no problem. 8qts mixed with the Mopar in the torque converter?

The Wal-Mart brand should be carried by all the stores. It is under license by MOPAR so it should be identical to the MOPAR branded fluid.

Valvoline ATF+4 at Kragen is pretty good.

I just did mine for the second time and it uses 6. 5 qts. with filter change, no flushing of lines or cooler.
