need transmission cooler lines. Check YOURS!

the thin soft sheet metal bands that hold up the cooler lines eat into the aluminum lines causing small leaks. I have patched mine up but they just spring a leak somewhere else. today I'm on the hunt for replacement lines. does anyone still make them?

Id run heavy duty rubber lines , thats what ive done in the past on my 73 or places like summit have the coiled line you can buy

just add flaired ends and connect with high pressure transmission line? wouldn't the rubber hold the heat a lot more then the aluminum?

No actually it wont pick up radaint heat , If you dont have id add a external transmission cooler , if you do alot of driving and not moving fast one with a fan might be adviseible

its a farm/ farm plow truck. guess i'll look into a transmission temp guage

It would be a good idea , i think they have kits that have coolers with a fan that has a transmission cooler guage on them and the fan runs only when needed
