Archived Need transmission shop OK City

Stock clutch slipping some unloaded with Edge set on #2 and am 1000 miles from home. Getting ready to tow 24,000 lbs from OKC to Western Colo. Would like to get into a shop 1/6 Saturday or 1/8 Monday for a good aftermarket clutch and not break the bank. Anyone know of a good transmission shop close to OKC? Southbend OFE look good for this app?

Maybe this will help you out. Blumenthal's is off of western and I-40 and not sure were Drive Train Specialists is located exactly... but I think it is off of I-240.

Friend of mine owns Keiths Transmissions on SW 29 just on the west side of I-240. Does good work.



Blumenthals is good too. Their main shop (customer) is at SW 3 and Western.

Many thanks! We decided to limp back home to CO pulling the trailer and a much lighter load since it was the weekend (Blumenthal service dept. only open M-F and did not have the clutch I wanted in stock). Will comeback later for the backhoe. Had minimal problems. I appreciate it!!
