I am sending my ps62/14 back to II for an upgrade.

Looking for input from people running now or have run different turbo's.

Drivablity, smoke, temps, HP possible, dyno or drag

Choices are

SPS62

Silver62

SPS66

Silver Bullet

Truck is a 1999 3500 2wd auto 4. 10

currently running, smarty, mach 3. 8's, tst pm3, 4" exhaust, afe, daves

converter not the tightest but pretty tight and valve body, billet input

I do not tow, sled pull, it's a daily driver that I like to have fun with.

Thanks in advance.

Scott

What are you wanting from your new turbo... ... The PS62 and your current mods should put you in the 500 HP range. Going larger will not increase HP, you can decrease your topend egt's by choosing a larger turbo though. But this would be at the expense of low end performance.

Haven't towed with it yet, but so far I'm really liking my new HTT 64/14. Tad more lag off boost than the PDR 40, but clears the smoke MUCH better, and the boost hits harder.

Guess there are tons of people with a stock truck that just love them to.

Why do you need twins ?

Just looking to try something different.

Thanks

Scott

I guess what I was looking for is , if you are running a

SPS66, do you like it and why ?

Silver 62, do you like it and why ?

ect.

I have searched and read most posts looking for first hand thoughts.

** I see HTT is building a Pro Street 66/12 anybody running one ? ***

Should spool faster but get hot on top, could be cooler with water injection ?

Thanks again to all

I haven't heard of the prostreet 66/12, I know you can get a sled puller with a 12.

hdtrukn,

We can't just put a small housing on a big turbo and get good spoolup and manners. This was evident with the kwickspool B-1, they surged terribly! Matching the turbo to the application and fueling is very important. Calling a knowledgable honest vendor is your best approach... ...

If I can answer any specific questions on the HTT or II line give us a call as we have personally used all of the II line and most of the HTT line of turbos.
