I just talked to Gus at the link I gave you. They have them in stock and he is willing to get you a replacement for 695. 00 without an upfront core charge. It is expected that you will send yours back to them though and they provide a shipping label.

They will need your complete VIN#, ECM part #, Valve cover # 53040XXX and production date. Good Luck, Tom J.

Has anyone had any problems with the rebuilt ECM's that they have gotten from them? I thought I saw on here that some people have had problems with their rebuilt ECM. I am wondering as I may need one.

I have no idea, I have just been googling and making phone calls. Any info on these ecm problems and replacement issues are very much appreciated. Thanks, Tom J.

Thank you very much. I will call him on Monday and hopefuly it works out. I am a little scared of the rebuilt stuff though. As long as they have a warranty should be ok. If it lasts for three years it will be same as my stock one.

Thank you very much Tom for doing the foot work for me. It is greatly appreciated. I spoke to Gus and he is sending me a computer tomorrow once it is programmed.

He is also giving me a one-year warranty with it which is awesome. I should have it by friday and will post the results.

Thanks again

Regards

Sasha

Sorry had some personal issues and haven't been able to post. I received the computer and installed it. They were great received within three days and installed it immediately. Unfortunately it did not fix my problem. Thank you for your help.

I am sorry to hear that. Will they let you send back the unit for a refund? I am in the same boat as you and think maybe you could have a shorted wire somewhere. I found the wiring diagram for the 05's but the wire colors are all wrong for my 06. I just had a thought, if you can't get your money back and I can find someone local to program the vin info, I could try it on my truck and if it fixes my issue I would pay you what ever you spent and send my ecm in as the core. I am an elecronic mechanic so I have no problem testing the wires and voltages but I am not sure exactly what effect each sensor has on the ecm, so not exactly sure what to check for. It seems pretty straight fordward what the boost and rail pressure sensor do but they have more wires than you would think going to them. Anyways, Good luck and sorry it didn't work. Tom J.

Tom,When I get back Home (end of Week) I will forward the 06 Wiring to You. SS is not the only Person That has this Problem. Many Owners have contacted Me on this,Some Have spend 5K trying to resolve the issue. Hugggg..... send email address to -- email address removed --
