I purchased a 1990 model 5th wheel recently. The weight is supposed to be around 9000 lbs says the owner manual. It only has two axels. Where is a place that I can do research to find this info?
Are you sure it is a 37' ?? My older buyers guide shows all the Newmars above 32' have 3 axles. . Plus they all weigh 12-13K. Newmars are heavy for their size... I had a 1994 32' that was 13000 loaded. . VERY hard pulling. .

NADA will show the supposed dry weight but I think that comes from the Mfg. and is the weight of the unit before any upgrades are added. They are a little more truthful about actual dry weights now but it used to be terribly off. Best to weigh it as recommended above. If it has two slide outs, my guess would be between 11,000 and 12,000 pounds. I have a 31' American Star and it's a little over 11,000 dry weight I believe. bg
I just found it on the N. A. D. A showing it as 36' & 8800 lbs. Yep only 2 axels with 235/85/16's. Tires almost touch. Only 1 slide masterbed in rear. 80 y/o gentleman took great care of it before buying a new 27'. I think I'LL run it over to the truck stop.
